Day 1

Transfer Calama aiport / hotel in San Pedro de Atacama (regular with spanish speakign driver).

Day 2

Full day Atacama Salt Flat, Miscanti and Meñiques lagoons with lunch (regular with english speaking guide):
Atacama Salt Flat & Altiplanic Lagoons: Explore the vast Atacama Salt Lake (app. surface: 12,000 km2) accompanied by experienced tour guides. Discover how life makes its way through rough saline landscapes. Walk on one of the planet’s largest saline plateaus while witnessing the interesting biotical connection shared by the dry environment, the Andes mineral contribution, and the species that inhabit the area. After the ascent to 4,200 meters above mean sea level deep into the Andes Mountain, we will find ourselves in front of Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons, located at the foot of the volcanoes bearing the same names. These volcanoes and lagoons make up for a landscape found only in the Atacama region. Along the way an environment full of beautiful wild life such as vicuñas, vizcachas, foxes, ñandúes, flamingos and ducks can be observed.

Day 3

Half day Tatio Geiser with box desayuno (regular with english speaking guide):
El Tatio Geysers: Departure at dawn (around 04:30 a.m.) heading right into the Andes (100 kilometres from San Pedro de Atacama) to witness one of nature’s most overwhelming phenomenon: a stunning display of colours and contrasts resulting from steam columns (fumaroles) that occur in the world’s highest geothermal field (4,320 meters above mean sea level). It’s also possible to bathe in El Tatio’s hot spring, rich in mineral salts. On the way back the road that runs along the Andes mountain range enables passengers to watch plants and wild animals typical for this altiplanic area.

PM Half day Moon Valley Tour (regular with english speaking guide): Visit geological formations located in of the planet’s driest most hostile areas: The Atacama Desert. A privileged location enables passengers to admire the fantastic molding power of natural phenomena that strongly affect our planet and strangely shape clay and salt figures. Walk trough salt caves – stunning formations right in the middle of Salt Mountain Range.

Day 4

AM Half day Archaeological Tour (regular with english speaking guide):
We will be visiting the most representative archeological places that show the development of the Atacama culture. Discover the origin of this culture; visit the archeological monument called “Aldea de Tulor”, where the first settlement took place for approx. 2800 years. Relive, accompanied by native Atacama guides, the beginning of the sedentary life of the first inhabitants of the Atacama Desert. The pre-Columbian trail continues visiting Pukara de Quitor, Atacama Fortress built in the XI. Century. The Ruins are symbol of the highlight of the Atacama indigenous social organization. Be amazed by the story about the fights to take the Pukara, when the Spanish arrived in Atacama. Remember de facts, step by step as related of as our guides, walking in the symbol of the indigenous resistance in the San Pedro of Atacama zone.

Day 5

Day 6

Full day Torres del Paine & Milodon Cave with box lunch (regular with english spaeking guide):

The tour begins in Puerto Natales going along Seno de Última Esperanza heading for the Cueva del Milodón: an enormous 30 meter high and 70 meter deep cave, where remains of a prehistoric animal named Milodón were found by captain Hermann Eberhard in 1896. The tour continues through the hills and vast pampa of the Chilean Patagonia. Access to the spectacular Torres del Paine National Park – Biosphere Reserve – in which pumas, foxes, guanacos and ñandúes coexist in beautiful native forests.
Throughout the excursion Salto Grande –a waterfall that streams down from Nordenskjöld Lake into Pehoé Lake – can be appreciated. Cuernos del paine – amazing jagged granite ridges perfectly complement the landscape. The tour continues along Pehoé lakeside towards Lake Grey with a break for lunch while observing small-sized icebergs flowing off Glaciar Grey. The excursion proceeds toward Laguna Amarga. At this point passengers can admire breathtaking views of Torres del Paine.

Day 7

Full day Balmaceda & Serrano Tour with lunch (regular with english spaeking guide):

The tour begins in Puerto Natales dock. From there visit Glacier Serrano located at one end of Seno de Ultima Esperanza. Beautiful landscapes can be appreciated while sailing. Passenger disembark in front of Glacier Serrano. Short walk allows close observation of ice walls. Back to the boat and sailing reassumes Glacier Balmaceda bound.

Day 8

Transfer hotel in Puerto Natales / bus Station.
Ticket bus Puerto Natales / Punta Arenas airport (regular line bus).
